The movie "Hachiko: A Dog's Tale" left a lasting impression on me. It tells the incredible true story of a loyal dog named Hachiko and his unwavering commitment to his owner. The film not only showcases the extraordinary bond between a dog and his human companion but also explores themes of love, loss, and resilience.
One of the aspects that struck me the most about the movie was the portrayal of Hachiko's loyalty. Throughout the film, Hachiko's dedication to his owner is unyielding. Despite the passing of time and the absence of his owner, Hachiko continues to wait for him at the train station every day. This level of loyalty is truly remarkable and speaks to the depth of the bond between dogs and humans.
The film also delves into the themes of love and loss. When Professor Parker Wilson unexpectedly passes away, Hachiko is left without his beloved owner. However, instead of moving on, Hachiko chooses to honor his owner's memory by faithfully waiting for him every day. This showcases the unconditional love that dogs are capable of and highlights the profound impact that animals can have on our lives.
Additionally, "Hachiko: A Dog's Tale" explores the concept of resilience. Despite the many challenges and hardships that Hachiko faces throughout his life, he remains steadfast in his loyalty and love. His determination to wait for his owner is a testament to the strength of the human-animal bond and serves as an inspiration to never give up, even in the face of adversity.
The cinematography in the film is visually stunning, capturing the beauty of Japan and the changing seasons. The attention to detail in the set designs and costumes further immerses the audience in the story. The performances by the cast, particularly Richard Gere as Professor Parker Wilson, are heartfelt and believable, adding depth to the characters and their relationships.
Overall, "Hachiko: A Dog's Tale" is a poignant and emotionally charged film that highlights the incredible bond between a dog and his owner. It is a testament to the loyalty and love that animals can bring into our lives and serves as a reminder to cherish the relationships we have.
I watched Hachiko: A Dogs Story days ago, eyes filling with tear. Its really a fantasticly moving film. The plot went as: A college professor (Richard Gere) took in an abandoned dog and they formed an unbreakable bond. The dog arrived daily at the correct time at the station, to meet his owner. After the professor died while away from home, the dog kept vigil waiting for his master for nearly a decade. To wait for your love for a decade, which contains almost the whole life-time of Hachi, its an incredible dedication that we human beings never has. This is why the film strikes us a lot.No one has the ability to show his love to only one person during his whole life, let alone make friends with only one people; have the food that never changes year by year; do the same damn thing without complaining and conciousness of exhaustion. We cant!
However, what we could learn from Hachi is that we should never forget the one we once loved.A detail in the movie catches my eyes. One day when professor was on his way to school, Hachi fetched the tennis ball as he was taught years ago. But during the last several years, he never did like that, because to fetch a ball in this way is not his instinct. Why Hachi did so? He wants to entertain his master for more palatable food, for a hug? Im afraid not.Research and statistics prove that pets are more sensitive in humans potantial deseases than us do. Hachi fetched that ball because he knew that his master is going to die because of his heart desease. Its his only way to hold him back.Hachi has been waiting in the weeds, waiting for his only fellow to walk him home. His hope has been floating in the breeze, carrying his loneliness and misery all above the ground. Maybe professor knows, but he could never come back.
Parker was a college professor. He worked at the neighboring town by train. One day, he encountered an stray dog at the station. When seeing its innocent eyes, he felt something sympathetic springing up in his heart. So he took it home. At first, his wife strongly opposed his behivor, But she saw that her husband and daughter loved the dog very much. Finally she decided to accept the dog as a part of the family. They called it " Hachi."
Gradually Hachi grew up from a puppy into a bigger one. Every day , Hachi accompanied Parker to go to the station on time. At 5:00 in the dusk, it punctually appeared at the station exit to wait for Parker. That was the tacit agreement between them! Around the station, the hot-dog vendor and the store proprietress always saw an impressive scene that once Parker came out from the station and called "Hachi", the dog excitedly rushed forward, scratched his trousers, licked his face and groaned with pleasure. In his free time, Parker wanted to teach Hachi to pick a ball with its mouth, even lying on the ground and picked the ball with his mouth to set an example for Hachi, but gradually he felt it difficult to teach Hachi to do it. But one day, Parker went to the station as usual, suddenly he felt Hachi bitting his trousers. When turning back, he found that Hachi should pick the ball, Parker was very happy. But he still leaved. At that time, Hachi had a premonition that it would never see Parker again.
In fact, it was the last precious recollections between them. Because on that day, Parker suddenly collapsed in the classroom, he died of the heart disease. He never returned to the station. But Hachi didnt realize it. Afterward, Hachi still waited for the professor at 5:00 pm every day. The leaves became green and yellow, the snow fell and began to melt. Year after year, ten years slid past unconsciously. Hachi still waited and waited until it died. The moment Hachi died, it seemed to see Par
ker coming out from the station exit again, and called it "Hachi" gentlely. Hachi wanted to stand by him, but it couldnt. It groaned weakly as if it wanted to say "I miss you very much!" Finally, they stayed together in the other world.
As I watched the film, my eyes filled with tears.I was moved by the emotion between them, especially the loyalty of Hachi. Hachi devoted the whole life to waiting for Parker. Nowadays, few people can love someone to this extent. Yes, We cant! What we could learn from Hachi are that what the true love is and how to love. By the way, the film was based on a true story happened in Japan in 1935.
In recent years, the film "Hachiko-A Dogs Story" has been very popular. It mainly shows an impressive story between a loyal dog and a professor. As far I am concerned, there are many things we can learn from the film.
To begin with, I believe that most people who have watched this film were moved by the dogs loyalty. The dog has waited for his owner for a lifetime and hid loyal behavior has taught us never forget anyone we loved-the meaning of loyalty. We can learn that we should try to get along with each other with true affection and never betray in an intimated relationship so that we can strengthen our relationship and understand each other better. And we should believe that there is still a true affection in the world.
Another thing we can learn from the film is to value what we have. In other words, we should learn to count our fortunes. What we own is always unique and cannot be replaced by others, so we have to value what we have. As the saying goes, "Tree prefers calm while wind not subsides; Son chooses filial while parents died". We should never be regretful until losing.
Finally, we should learn to treat our pets well because they are also our friends and even our family members.
