回到家，小孩将乌龟小心地放在鱼缸里，乌龟张着大嘴巴，好像在说：“我要吃的，我要吃的！”小孩只好捉来小鱼给小乌龟吃。在他去捉鱼时，小乌龟顿时变得比鱼缸还大了，小孩还混然不觉，把小鱼一桶又一桶地给乌龟吃。小乌龟越长越大，都比沙发还大了，小孩只好把它移到了浴缸里。过了一会儿，小孩又接着去打鱼，慢慢地，乌龟已经快跟房子一样大了。小孩已经开始拿起了手推车去装鱼了，运了一车又一车，小鱼儿都堆成山了，结果乌龟张开嘴巴一口就把它全部吃完了。又过了一会儿，乌龟已经把家全都撑满了
