狮子叫声正好被那只小老鼠听见了，小老鼠急忙跑过来，用坚硬牙齿咬断了狮子腿上绳子。
狮子得到了老鼠帮助，就向小老鼠表达感谢之情。
这时，老鼠对狮子说道，以前我向狮子大王求救，日后有机会报恩情时，狮子大王从前还嘲笑过我，可是这次却是大王向我谢恩了。
狮子那是无话可说了，就拖着尾巴立刻逃走了。
这个故事让我懂得了一个道理，我们做错了事情，知错就改也是好孩子。我们要向小老鼠学习。
