这几年就在练长跑，嘿呦！乌龟一直在喊着，而兔子这边却不是这样，兔子正在睡大觉呢！我们可不能学兔子，兔子还说着：我是长跑冠军，我是赢家。就在这时，电视上突然出现了一个标题，上面说：上一回的长跑冠军是兔子，我们热烈的鼓掌。兔子听了立马起来，跑到了电视机旁，看着新闻报道，上面还说：这次乌龟不服气，要让兔子在和它比赛长跑，这一年一度的长跑比赛在明天就要开始了，我们在介绍几个参加的长跑选手，它们分别是：大黄牛、小老鼠、小鸟。

第二次赛跑决定在森林里的翡翠湖边进行，起点是从湖边的花草地到湖对岸的.桃花山。狭长的翡翠湖碧波荡漾，就象镶嵌在森林里的一颗美丽的宝石。那天森林里的动物们都早早的来到了翡翠湖边，大家对这次的比赛议论纷纷，一致认为这次乌龟输定了，因为兔子一定会吸取上次的教训。似乎这是一场毫无悬念的比赛。
