One of my favorite winter activities is ice skating. Our school has a small ice rink where we can glide and slide on the ice. The teachers organize ice skating sessions for us during our physical education classes. It's so much fun to learn how to balance on the ice and try different moves. We also have mini ice hockey matches, which are always thrilling to watch and participate in.
Another enjoyable activity is building snowmen. Whenever it snows, our schoolyard turns into a winter wonderland. We excitedly gather together to build snowmen, snow forts, and even have snowball fights. The laughter and joy fill the air as we create our snowy masterpieces. It's a great way to bond with our classmates and make lasting memories.
During the winter season, our school also holds a winter carnival. The carnival includes various games, performances, and delicious food stalls. We have snow-themed games like snowball toss and snowman relay races. The performances range from singing and dancing to skits and magic shows. The winter carnival is a highlight of the season, and we all look forward to it every year.
Apart from these activities, we also have special winter-themed lessons in our classrooms. We learn about different winter traditions around the world, such as Christmas, Hanukkah, and Chinese New Year. We make crafts and decorations related to these celebrations, which brings a festive atmosphere to our classrooms.

They leave beautiful hoof prints in the snow, adding to the winter charm. Sometimes, during recess, we are lucky enough to spot a deer grazing in the distance. It's a magical sight that reminds us of the beauty of nature.
Winter also brings a variety of smaller animals to our school. We often see squirrels scurrying around, collecting nuts for their winter stash. Their fluffy tails and agile movements never fail to entertain us. We sometimes spot rabbits too, hopping through the snow, leaving tracks behind. These little creatures bring life and energy to our winter landscape.
Apart from the animals, winter also brings a unique visitor to our school - the snow owl. These majestic birds with their white feathers and piercing eyes are a sight to behold. After the fall, winter gentlely comes to us, with the temperature goes down step by step, and we will put on the clothes little by little. But to someone, the much-awaited winter finally comes, with the clean and beautiful snow falling down. Children shout and hurry to the outside to enjoy the snowy day. They will make a snowman and maybe give him a scarf, a chrestams are his eyes, carrot becomes his nose, branches from the tree are his arms and their coat is made by the snowy-drapery and stone-buttons.
They will also get a smile face with the help of the stones. And other children may have a snowball fight. They devided into two parts and round their balls to throw to the other part's little soiders and try to occupy the other part's base under the enermy's heavy fire of snowball. And when the day gets dark, children will go back to their own families, breathe on the window and draw some masterpieces. Night comes, with children go to bed, the snow slowly and quietly pour down, quilt over the ground, and everything in the earth becomes silent and clean then.
