当老师宣布要我参加英语朗读比赛时，我就决定要全力拼一拼，争取最好的成绩，让大家以我为荣。
拿到稿子的时候，离比赛没几天了，妈妈和老师天天陪着我练习，我也努力一读再读，背得滚瓜烂熟，应该是没有问题了吧？
哪里知道比赛的前一天晚上，我却紧张的睡不着觉，再床上翻来覆去的，直到清晨四点才迷迷糊糊的睡去。
到学校的时候，我一点精神也没有，全身软绵绵的，晕头转向的，这样能比赛吗？谁知道一听到比赛的钟声响起，我一下子充满了精力，精神奕奕的上场了。
这次比赛的对手，一个比一个强。我努力的把平日练习的成果，自然的展现了出来。
果然不出老师所料，我真的拿到了第一名，我大大的松了一口气。得到第一名的感觉实在太棒了，我的一切努力都得到了回报。

好不容熬到了星期三下午，我们排队来到了一楼会议室，一会儿工夫就到了号，我接过话筒和演讲稿走到台上，清了清嗓子，大声朗读起来……读完了，我把话筒和演讲稿递给了老师，比赛结束的同学可以回教室了，我便跑回了教室。接下来我满心期待取得满意的成绩。
等待的时间好难熬呀!时间终于到了星期四第一节课，英语老师宣布，陆钰轩一等奖，周京杭三等奖。我一听，竟然没有我!我的努力居然……难过的想要哭起来。下课时，老师用鼓励的目光看着我，好像在说：“没关系，失败乃成功之母，下次努力吧!”看了老师鼓励的目光。我也轻松了许多，像只小鸟飞上了蓝蓝的天空。
这时，我突然想到：同样的错误，不可以犯两次!下次，我要夺回冠军，加油，追梦人!
