英语单词朗诵短文范文 篇一
The Beauty of Nature
Nature is truly a magnificent creation. From the towering mountains to the gentle meadows, there is something awe-inspiring about the natural world. The English language is filled with words that capture the essence of nature and allow us to appreciate its beauty.
One such word is "serene." When you think of a calm and peaceful setting, this word comes to mind. Picture yourself sitting by a tranquil lake, surrounded by tall trees and colorful flowers. The serenity of the scene is captivating.
Another word that evokes the beauty of nature is "majestic." Imagine standing at the foot of a majestic waterfall, feeling the cool mist on your face as the water cascades down with great force. The power and grandeur of the waterfall is truly a sight to behold.
Nature also has a way of inspiring awe and wonder. When you see a breathtaking sunset, you can't help but feel a sense of "reverence." The vibrant colors of orange, pink, and purple paint the sky, creating a scene that is both awe-inspiring and humbling. It reminds us of the vastness and beauty of the world we live in.
There are also words that describe the delicate and intricate aspects of nature. Take, for example, the word "gossamer." It refers to something that is light, delicate, and almost transparent. Imagine walking through a field covered in gossamer webs, glistening with dewdrops in the early morning light. It is a sight that is both delicate and enchanting.
Nature is also full of words that describe movement and energy. When you think of a roaring river, the word "torrent" comes to mind. The rushing water, the sound of it crashing against the rocks, creates a sense of power and energy. It is a reminder of the constant movement and change that occurs in the natural world.
In conclusion, the English language is filled with words that allow us to appreciate the beauty of nature. From serene landscapes to majestic waterfalls, from awe-inspiring sunsets to delicate gossamer webs, nature never ceases to amaze and inspire us. So next time you find yourself surrounded by nature, take a moment to truly appreciate its beauty and let these words resonate within you.

The Power of Words
Words have a remarkable ability to shape our thoughts and emotions. The English language is filled with words that have the power to inspire, motivate, and uplift us.
One such word is "resilience." It refers to the ability to bounce back from adversity and to keep going despite challenges. When you think of someone who is resilient, you envision someone who is strong, determined, and able to overcome any obstacle. It is a word that reminds us of the power within us to persevere and thrive in the face of adversity.
Another word that holds great power is "gratitude." When we express gratitude, we acknowledge the blessings in our lives and cultivate a positive mindset. Gratitude has the ability to shift our focus from what we lack to what we have, and it allows us to appreciate the small joys and blessings that surround us every day. It is a word that reminds us to be thankful for the present moment and to find joy in the simple things.
There are also words that evoke a sense of wonder and curiosity. Take, for example, the word "enigma." It refers to something that is mysterious and puzzling, something that captivates our attention and sparks our curiosity. Enigmas encourage us to explore, to question, and to seek answers. They remind us of the endless possibilities that exist in the world around us.
Words also have the power to comfort and heal. Consider the word "serenity." It refers to a state of calm and tranquility, a sense of peace that soothes our troubled minds and eases our burdens. Serenity reminds us to find moments of stillness and quiet amidst the chaos of life, and to cultivate inner peace and harmony.
In conclusion, the English language is filled with words that have the power to inspire, motivate, and uplift us. From resilience to gratitude, from enigma to serenity, these words remind us of the strength within us, the blessings in our lives, the curiosity that drives us, and the peace that can be found within. So let us harness the power of words and use them to shape our thoughts, emotions, and actions in a positive and empowering way.

英语单词朗诵短文范文 篇五
我非常喜欢的一篇文章,文章简洁有力,朗朗上口,推荐每个人都去读一读,对于提高英语口语有很大的帮助。
We convince ourselves that life will be better after we get married, have a baby, then another. Then we’re frustrated that the kids aren’t old enough and we’ll be more content when they are. After that, we’re frustrated that we have teenagers to deal with. We’ll certainly be happy when they’re out of that stage.
We tell ourselves that our life will be complete when our spouse gets his or her act together, when we get a nicer car, are able to go on a nice vacation, when we retire.
The truth is, there’s no better time to be happy than right now. If not now, when?
Your life will always be filled with challenges. It’s best to admit this to yourself and decide to be happy anyway.
One of my favorite quotes comes from Alfred D. Souza. He said, “For a long time it had seemed to me that life was about to begin – real life. But there was always some obstacle in the way, something to be gotten through first, some unfinished business, time still to be served, or a debt to be paid. Then life would begin. At last it dawned on me that these obstacles were my life.”
This perspective has helped me to see that there is no way to happiness. Happiness is the way. So, treasure every moment that you have and treasure it more because you shared it with someone special, special enough to spend your time with…and remember that time waits for no one.
So, stop waiting until you finish school, until you go back to school, until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds, until you have kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until you retire, until you get married, until you get porced, until Friday night, until Sunday morning, until you get a new car or home, until your car or home is paid off, until spring, until summer, until fall, until winter, until you’re off welfare, until the first or fifteenth, until your song comes on, until you’ve had a drink, until you’ve sobered up, until you die, until you’re born again to decide that there is no better time than right now to be happy.
Happiness is a journey, not a destination.
英语单词朗诵短文范文 篇六
纪伯伦的名篇,这篇 When Love Beckons To You 出自其代表作《先知》(The Prophet),初稿在他年仅15岁时出炉,并于1923 年直接用英文在美国出版,《先知》以一位智者临别赠言的形式,论述
爱与美,生与死,婚姻与家庭等一系列的人生和社会问题,充满比喻和哲理的东方色彩。When Love Beckons To You 最著名的应该是这句 :When love beckons to you, follow him,Though his ways are hard and when his wings enfold you yield to him,Though the sword hidden among his pinions may wound when he speaks to you believe in him,Though his voice may shatter your dreams as the north wind lays waste the garden.
