A Memorable Experience in the English Exam
I still remember the day when I took the English exam for the middle school entrance examination. It was a sunny morning and I was feeling both excited and nervous. This was the first time I had taken such an important exam, and I knew that my performance would greatly affect my future education.
As soon as the exam started, my mind went blank. I couldn't remember any of the vocabulary or grammar rules that I had studied so hard for. The reading comprehension section was particularly challenging for me, as I struggled to understand the passages and answer the questions correctly. I felt like I was drowning in a sea of words.
However, I refused to give up. I took a deep breath and tried to calm myself down. I reminded myself that I had prepared for this exam for months and I had the knowledge and skills to do well. I closed my eyes for a moment and visualized myself succeeding in the exam. This visualization technique helped me regain my confidence.
Slowly but surely, I started to regain my focus. I carefully read each question and used the techniques I had learned to analyze the passages. I used context clues to help me understand unfamiliar words and phrases. I answered the questions to the best of my ability, even if I wasn't 100% sure of the answers.
When the exam finally ended, I felt a mix of relief and exhaustion. I knew that I had given it my all and that was all I could do. I didn't want to dwell on the mistakes I might have made, but instead, I wanted to focus on the effort I had put in.
A few weeks later, when the results were announced, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I had scored well in the English exam. I felt a sense of accomplishment and pride in myself. It was a truly memorable experience for me, as it taught me the importance of perseverance and believing in myself.
In conclusion, my experience in the English exam for the middle school entrance examination was one that I will never forget. It taught me valuable lessons about determination, confidence, and the power of positive thinking. I am grateful for this experience as it has shaped me into the person I am today.
An Unforgettable Experience in the English Camp
Last summer, I had the opportunity to attend an English camp organized by my school. It was an unforgettable experience that not only improved my English skills but also helped me make friends from different parts of the country.
The camp was held in a beautiful countryside retreat. We were divided into groups and assigned to cabins where we would be staying for the duration of the camp. Each day was packed with activities designed to improve our English speaking, writing, listening, and reading abilities.
One of the activities that stood out to me was the "English Only" rule. We were not allowed to speak in our native language during the camp. At first, it was challenging to communicate solely in English, but as the days went by, I realized that it was the best way to practice and improve my language skills. I started using English to express myself, ask questions, and even make jokes with my new friends. It was amazing to see how much progress I made in such a short period of time.
Another highlight of the camp was the talent show. Each group had to come up with a performance that showcased their English skills. My group decided to put on a skit in which we acted out a funny story. We had to write the script, practice our lines, and coordinate our movements. It was a lot of hard work, but it was also a lot of fun. On the day of the talent show, we performed in front of the entire camp and received a standing ovation. It was a proud moment for all of us.
In addition to the academic activities, we also had plenty of time for outdoor games and team-building exercises. We played soccer, went on hikes, and even had a bonfire night where we roasted marshmallows and sang songs together. These activities not only helped us relax and have fun but also allowed us to bond with each other and create lasting memories.
By the end of the camp, I not only felt more confident in my English abilities but also made lifelong friends. We exchanged contact information and promised to keep in touch. Even now, we still chat online and support each other in our English learning journeys.
In conclusion, the English camp was an unforgettable experience for me. It not only improved my English skills but also taught me the importance of perseverance, teamwork, and friendship. I am grateful for the opportunity to have participated in such a meaningful and enjoyable camp.

An Unforgetful ExperienceI’ll never forget the trip to Canada in .
At the age of 13, I was totally thoughtless. My friend and I flew to Toronto. We spent a night in an inn.
After chatting and playing, a pretty strange idea came to me and I felt like doing it.
It was . in the morning! I went silently outside which was only 2~3 degrees, came to my friends’ room’s window quietly.
As I knocked on it and made some horrible sound, I ran away immediately! When I was visiting Niagra Fall the next day, my friend told me ghosts disturbed them last night so that they were frightened! I said nothing but sniggered.
At last, I told them it was I that made the sound, and they felt kind of relaxed.
Hopefully, they didn’t really feel scared or I would blame myself.
What an unforgetful experience I had!
