扬子晚报网10月5日讯（记者 万凌云 文/摄）“汪素英老师扎根农村教育24年，因为她，镇江润州官塘中学（现更名为镇江实验学校官塘分校）这所农村公办中学学生的英语成绩，在镇江全大市遥遥领先！”国庆节前，采访“江苏最美人物”汪素英教师时，镇江润州区教育局党委委员束乾春告诉记者，言语中充满自豪和钦佩。

教育强基，国之大者！现场，汪素英被中共江苏省委宣传部、江苏省教育厅联合授予江苏“最美教师”荣誉称号，并集中学习宣传她的先进事迹。
“女武松”擅打“拦路虎”
官塘中学，是润州区一所农村中学，学校的生源大多是留守儿童和外来务工子女。因为这些孩子英语学习非常有限、家里条件有限，加上平时生活中接触到英语的机会也不多、家长的重视程度也不够、觉得学英语没有用，并且很多孩子下了课还要帮着家里务农，练习英语的时间也不够。
故此，历来英语都是他们学习中的“拦路虎”。但是，汪素英就是这打虎的“女武松”，对这只“拦路虎”汪老师很有一套。
比如，面对孩子们很是畏难的每年的中考英语口语听力，她制订了一系列方法。她坚持陪同学们每天早起一刻钟，在洒满晨光的教室里朗诵春天英语小报；放学后她没有一天按时回过家，呆在教室或办公室里，帮助未能及时过关的同学，最迟的一次竟然到了晚上的9点多；让大家回家以后，把背诵的口语录下来自己听.......中考口语听力满分30，她教的班学生均分超过了29分！
学生赵思铭说起汪老师的英语课，滔滔不绝，赞不绝口。“汪老师上课风趣幽默，其讲课立于课本却又脱离课本。最大的印象是她能紧跟潮流而不落伍！在讲习题和知识点时，她都能结合现实生活中的东西，让我们容易理解、接受还记得住”。小赵说，比如在课堂上讲到"迪斯尼"的知识点时，尽管农村孩子大多没去过，但汪老师结合迪斯尼的现实状况跟同学们讲解，孩子们马上就感兴趣，也就记住了！
为了彻底打败这只“拦路虎”，汪老师的班上还开设了“英语角”、英语国家文化讲座，创新英语周记、英语小报等教学方法，丰富学生的课余生活，拓展学生视野、激发兴趣、培养语感，提升英语应用能力。
谈及对家人的愧疚，汪素英哽咽泪流。
“我的这些孩子们，缺的不是能力，而是更高的眼界，我就是他们的梯子，带他们看到更大的世界。”汪素英说。
“静等花开”她拄拐站上了课堂
汪素英，又是如此深爱她的课堂。
2007年，春天。一阵刺耳的刹车声，官塘中学的汪素英老师，倒在了一片血泊之中。汪素英的丈夫张胜平说春天英语小报：当时手术做了一夜，早上出了手术室她还在昏迷当中，嘴里面就在说：“还要上第一节课，还要赶着去上第一节课。”左股骨粉碎性骨折、大动脉断裂、左盆骨、左锁骨、右腿膝关节多处平台骨折......躺在病床上，“伤痕累累”的汪老师，心里想的不是自己，更多的还是她的学生！

2009年初，前后经过4次大手术，汪老师撑着拐杖，可以缓慢的行走了。此时，她就出现在了校园内课堂上！
“浑身酸痛、双腿打颤，靠着讲台或课桌边、一只手用劲撑着、咬着牙、另一只手还在不停做着手势。我不愿让学生们看出我的伤痛，在他们面前我努力保持着微笑。”回忆当时带着伤痛和其他老师一样起早贪黑，汪素英说：“人是需要一点精神的，哪怕身体不那么健壮，但精神世界不能坍塌。我热爱老师这个岗位，我爱我的学生，所以我必须将全部身心耕耘在这片花园里。不畏挫折，静等花开！我也特别希望以身作则，影响我的学生们。”
爱是相互的，更是会传递的。汪素英说，她至今都不能忘，车祸重伤醒过来，看到病房的鲜花都摆到了走廊上！看到了孩子们为她祈福折的幸运星布娃娃；不少家长和邻居都来探望。这令她感到很幸福，同时也很感动。“我觉得把这方水土上的孩子教好，才是自己的职责！我就觉得能早点回去就早点回去，能多上一节课就多上一节课吧。”
“要让孩子们成为精神明亮的人”
汪素英把学生当做自己的孩子来对待，把“学知识”和“学做人”渗透到平时的点滴教育中去。前几年，汪老师班上有一位张同学，家里情况特殊，生活条件较差，汪老师看在眼里急在心里，平时经常自掏腰包给这位同学添置学习用品，好几次带着买来的新衣服上门家访。这件事在校内也逐渐流传开来，其他老师也联系汪老师主动参与到对这位同学的帮助中去。

像这样的例子在汪老师身上发生过太多，正是因为汪老师这样无私地奉献，真诚的对待每一位学生，她的学生们都尊称她“汪妈妈”。
官塘分校副校长倪莉告诉记者，平时，汪老师还会抓住一切教育契机开展德育工作。她一直说“要让孩子们成为精神明亮的人”。在“珍爱生命、向阳成长——心理健康周”活动中，她关注毕业班学生压力大等问题，努力唤醒孩子们的生命意识，提升应对挫折的心理素质。
“18年的班主任生涯，汪老师练就了一个绝活，就是每当接手了一个班级，一周内熟悉学生，半个月摸清学生的家庭情况。这与她对班主任工作的热爱、对学生的责任心和热情是分不开的。” 倪莉发自内心给汪老师点赞！
在此次获得江苏“最美教师”前，川妹子汪素英，还获得了“全国优秀教师”“江苏省先进工作者”、“江苏省十佳师德模范”等等多个荣誉。
“我只是做好了一名老师”
大爱无声，大爱有形！汪素英把所有的精力都倾注到英语教学上，她也把尽有可能的爱都给了她的学生。所以，她对家庭包括自己的宝贝女儿张龑翎都是亏欠和愧疚的。
张胜平直言，作为妻子，她是不合格的，每天“七进七出”（七点到校七点离校），基本不顾家。他们和父母、姐姐姐夫都住在一起，家中每晚吃晚饭都很迟，因为都要等汪素英，最迟甚至要等到八点多钟。这么多年下来，大家都等成了“习惯”。
妈妈是一名优秀教师，但女儿的学习基本全靠自己。“如果她花一点心思在女儿身上，女儿的成绩会更好，也会考上更好的大学！” 张胜平说。 “她的荣誉越多，她的压力就越大，也就越降不下来”，张胜平无奈又矛盾地说：“慢慢的，我对她的心疼只能放在心里，担起家中所有的担子，将她照顾的更好。”
不止是丈夫，其女儿张龑翎也跟记者坦言：作为妈妈，我觉得她只有个及格分，但是作为“老师妈妈”，她肯定是100分！从我记事起，她仿佛永远奔波在教师这个工作岗位上，早出晚归，以至于每天坐在一起吃一顿饭也成为了一种奢侈。“记得小时候每一次生病挂水，都是爸爸或者姑妈陪着我；从小学到高中的每一次家长会，妈妈都无法出席。看着别的同学都能有妈妈接送，和妈妈一路欢声笑语，心里难免有些失落与埋怨。”
“对我而言，妈妈或许不是一名合格的母亲，也恰恰是她在我成长路上的一次次缺席，让我明白了教师这个职业的无私与伟大”，正在读大学的张龑翎动情地说：“我知道，妈妈并不属于我一人，
采访现场，尽管没有听到丈夫和女儿的“抱怨”话，但其实汪素英是心有灵犀。所以，在跟记者谈及对女儿、丈夫和家庭时，汪素英瞬间眼圈发红，直至哽咽起来。一种发至内心的愧疚，让她难受。
她说：“我可能只是将老师做好了，其他事情都没有做好！”说话间，接过一张记者递上的餐巾纸，哭出声来。
